A First-Time Mom Reality Check (Part 1)
It's common for first-time mothers to stress about all the tiny things, like their feeding habits, sleeping routine, and overall growth and development. There is constant worry and anxiety for their welfare. When you notice something unusual about your baby—which may even be normal—you should not be alarmed. However, as a first-time mother, you may not be aware of it.
As soon as I became a mother, my first instinct was to make sure my child was breathing normally. I also recalled the time I started to worry that anything was wrong when my kid did not poop for more than a week. I asked for advice all the time till my kid finally pooped. I relived my happiness. Once more, my infant experienced colic. Despite my knowledge that colic is a frequent occurrence in babies, I was unable to watch my child writhe in agony and wail nonstop. I used to be afraid, but my son outgrew it.
The body doesn't quickly revert to its pre-pregnancy form after birth. Weight loss, stretch marks, a completely different body shape, breast alterations, skin discoloration, postpartum bleeding, and other issues are common for new moms. For first-time mothers experiencing these unanticipated physical changes, the postpartum period can be emotionally taxing. Therefore, it can be crucial to seek out emotional support from friends, family, and experts at this time.
Basically, most new mothers experience sleep deprivation, which is a real and legitimate challenge that can affect their mental and physical health. It's crucial to keep in mind that this is only a transitory stage, and the mother will eventually be able to resume her regular sleep habits as the baby grows and begins to sleep for longer amounts of time.

Misconceptions About Small Gestures
Some people think that they are unable to show small gestures to anyone unless they are in a romantic relationship with someone of the opposing sex. This is untrue since modest acts of kindness are valued in all kinds of relationships, including those between coworkers, relatives, and even complete strangers. Small actions simply reveal your characteristics to those you are not romantically involved with. You can't act romantically in a relationship if you can't even make tiny gestures in your daily interactions.
Small gestures are not meant to be reserved for special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays, recovery etc. Those gestures are supposed to be a normal part of our lifestyle. Showing them only on special occasions is not enough.
Small gestures are not appreciated:
You might think that those who are opportune to receive these small gestures might not appreciate it, but you can't tell what a person needs at a given point in time. You might never know how much someone might appreciate a lovely note from you or words of encouragement.
Small gestures don't have long-term impact:
This is untrue. People have pointed out "insignificant deeds" that I have personally performed for them in the past, and I am always in awe when they tell me how it impacted them. This has made me realize that people don't forget good deeds easily. There are unknowing lives that can be changed by tiny actions.
Little acts of kindness ought to always be returned.
This fallacy holds that tiny acts of kindness should always be returned or reciprocated, while in actuality, gestures are not commerce. It is preferable to carry out tiny deeds of kindness without anticipating anything in return.
In conclusion, there is a misconception about the significance of small gestures in interpersonal interactions that leads one to believe that they are unimportant. Little motions have a subtle force that surpasses the power of words or large gestures. It's important to never undervalue the impact they can have on other people. It is true that their purity and simplicity can foster sincere emotions of gratitude, love, warmth, and respect. They carry the emblem of human affection and touch, which is unrepeatable. It's time to recognize and capitalize on the transforming power of these little deeds to build a more compassionate society and stronger ties.

The Inevitability of Gossip
You can't avoid people talking about you or better put, gossiping about you. It's a part of life. No matter how hard you try to stay quiet or unnoticed in your life, something must be said. There has to be a cause for gossip. Even that very quiet life can be a big subject matter for some people on your behalf. Humans, by nature, are social creatures. As a part of this, one of how people socialize is through discussion or gossip about other individuals. Multiple factors make it almost impossible to avoid people talking or gossiping about you.
Everyone has the right to their opinions. Some
people in a way validate their opinion about you or something, they naturally
want to share their beliefs, opinions, or judgment with another person. If both
parties are connected, gossip will be very much achieved.
Humans are naturally curious creatures. We are fascinated by each
other's lives and experiences. We are more curious when we don't even know the
things we want to know. Consequently, people will often assume, speculate
about, or discuss each other's actions, choices, behaviors, situations, and
lifestyles.
Gossip thrives in one's absence. In your
absence, you have no control over what others are saying about you. You could
just be somewhere in your quiet life but you don't know that a lot is being
said about you. You can't help it, it's beyond your control. People often find
the freedom to discuss you when you're not present to refute their claims or
justify your actions.
Jealousy will make some people gossip about you.
It's not your fault that someone chose to be jealous of you and you cannot help
it if the person constantly talks about you. Gossip serves as a tool for
jealous individuals to tarnish the image of those they envy, indirectly
asserting their superiority or soothing their envy
Gossip is often used as a form of social
bonding. When someone who knows how to gossip meets another person who knows
how to listen and contribute, they have formed a wonderful team. Whether the people
involved in the gossip love each other or not as long as they both harbor
similar feelings of jealousy for you, they are connected.
While it is not possible to stop people from talking about you
completely, one can make an effort to live in a manner that limits negative
talk and generates positive conversations instead. Be mindful of what you share
with people. and remember that you can't please everyone, so instead, focus on
being true to yourself and making choices that align with your values and
beliefs.
